Religion V's spirituality
Faith and religion are two separate things.
When I first had my awakening I knew then that there is a god, I had so many signs telling me this, the synchronicities where none stop for about a year until I understood what I was getting shown from higher beings, some might call them guides/ angels/ spirit family/ universal consciousness.
I was confused to say the least and was on a hunt for information.
I once said to the universe well what is God and I got a one-word answer, that was ‘ubiquitous’ which means - existing or being everywhere at the same time in the present moment.
This made sense to me, but I also wanted to understand about religion and look into what they all meant.
If you happen to follow one of the over 4200 religions being practiced on the Earth today by approximately 84% of the earths population, you may or may not have a strong spiritual program. That has to do with you as a spirit and your choice to grow as an individual and whether or not you have an active spiritual practice. You do not need a religion to have a spiritual practice, and you do not need to have a spiritual practice to have a religion. Spiritual practice is personal and religion is social.
I had a strong feeling in my heart that religion wasn’t for me, I do have respect for people who follow this way of life and that makes sense to them. But I looked at the bigger picture and could see that lots of wars in the world have been the cause of religious segregation. Spirituality is a more peaceful way of life, you see everyone as God, just having a different experience. Spiritual is believing in everything is a oneness.
Religion is the non awakened mind trying to grasp the universe. Mostly done by personification of the disconnection from the inner wisdom, power and love. Spirituality is more like your personal journey with God, the Universe with yourself.
In most religions, God is an object separate from you but from my own experiences God is everyone.
I went to bed one night and I got awoken by my guides and they said do you want to know what Jesus teachings are and I said yes, they then opened up my heart chakra and I instantly knew that we are all the same being. It was the most amazing feeling of love and a full knowing that we are all one.
